THIS YEAR, THE FOCUS WAS ON INDUSTRY 4.0, WHOSE PRINCIPLES WE HAVE BEEN RESPECTING SINCE 2015.
Even this year we attended Hannover Messe, an event we have been taking part in since 1978, the year our company was established. We have been exhibiting in the most important showcase dedicated to industrial technologies in the world right from the very start and, just like us, it has never stopped developing. This latest edition has also proven to keep up with the times, substantially increasing the participation of companies embracing Industry 4.0, that have gone from taking up a conspicuous portion of the exhibition space last year to occupying almost all of it this year.
We were impressed but not surprised to notice that Industry 4.0 has developed from being a major role player into the undisputed star of the show. From this point of view, we reached the German tradeshow in a pole position courtesy of the particularly high level of digitalisation of our production and management processes, an advanced stage along a path based on the principles of the so-called “fourth industrial revolution” we set out on three years ago with a heavy investment plan in technologies and training. These investments have been, and continue to be, rewarded by the trust of the industries we work with which are now increasingly more likely to choose suppliers able to benefit from innovation in real time to deliver excellence.
