On the one hand we are committed to continuously improving our products and the processes that lead to their creation, and on the other we work to ensure that this happens in a logic of increasingly consistent reductions in emissions and energy consumption.

Thanks to this logic, the investment programme we launched in 2015 includes substantial improvements in implementing increased sustainability.

The outstanding measures here include a new led illumination system composed of 87 150W luminaires with an average illumination factor of 300lux at a height of 1 metre. Also significant, two photovoltaic plants, one with 150 KWp of power, consisting of 600 modules of 260 Wp, and the other of 110 KWp with 384 modules of 285 Wp: in 2017 these produced 183.77 MWh, allowing us to reduce our atmospheric CO2 emissions by 97.40 tons.

Meanwhile, we have almost completed the path that will lead us to pass the UNI EN ISO 14001:2017 certification milestone. This is an environmental management standard whose rules cover internal factors, including wastewater discharge, hazardous substances and accident risk, and external factors, including climatic volatility.

We are also in the process of obtaining OHSAS 18001: 2017 certification (Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series). This certifies the voluntary application of a system capable of identifying risks and triggering checks to ensure that work conditions are always optimal.
