The ceremony was held during the Confindustria Alto Adriatico General Meeting
On Friday 27th September, at Grado Congress Hall, during the 2024 General Meeting of Confindustria Alto Adriatico, the ceremony took place to award the scholarships named in memory of our Marco.
It was, without a doubt, the most perfect setting imaginable, since the theme of the event was human capital as a wealth of skills, abilities and knowledge founded on training: a value in which to invest today to build the tomorrow of our companies and our nation. Participants included the national president of Confindustria, Emanuele Orsini, and Michelangelo Agrusti, president of Confindustria Alto Adriatico, who emphasized how passion, energy and synchrony are essential for both the company and young people looking to their working future.
With a keynote speech by, among others, Roberto Cingolani, government adviser for energy and CEO of Leonardo, the event brought major industry players together and marked an important step in involving the younger generations. In attendance there were hundreds of young students from the Technical Institutes in the Upper Adriatic System and the university network, and also a group of Ghanaian students who were involved in a training course set up in their country.
The public were moved, watching six deserving students receive scholarships in memory of Marco, who we remember in his role as president of the Young Industrialists group of Confindustria Alto Adriatico, a testimony to the high esteem of all those who had the privilege of sharing some of their journey with him.
